A new web site for Papergraphics
Papergraphics launch their web-based product application
The Papergraphics Product Application / Website has been built to mirror the new product swatch books for 2011.
It has been a very busy six months at Papergraphics whilst the marketing team prepared the new product swatch books for 2011.
Swatch books are (quite obviously) integral to marketing paper, films and vinyl's for the large-format print media marketplace as in the end, the customer needs to handle the product to assess the quality and texture of the material. Even in this digital age, we still need to explore the “physical experience” of many products in order to understand their value.
However, IF you combine the experience of a swatch book with the information delivery capabilities of a web-based product application, the potential for delivering both the “experiential and informational knowledge” associated with these products is enormously enhanced ... this is what we have attempted to do with the new paper-graphics.com website.
Designed specifically to support the marketing of the company's swatch books, the on-line “Papergraphics Product Application” enables the user to search the databases for products that are suitable for particular inks and applications.
As such, the Papergraphics website has been built around the product requirements with the traditional elements of a website (such as news and contact information), folded into that design.
To do this we’ve broken a few rules regarding how some people view the traditional role and interaction of a website – but as Papergraphics is an innovative business, and their customers are predominantly creative people, we figured that this was a risk worth taking! | Top |
